Thank-you so much to all who commented on my last image. I'm sorry I haven't replied yet but I promise I will. Right now we are off on our holidays. We're returning to Barra for a couple of weeks for more kite flying, some sandboarding and fingers crossed, a sea kayak expedition. If this doesn't get me taking pics again, I don't know what will! Wishing you all happy summer holidays and lots of fun, Pixelpixie.

Many, many thanks for all the encouraging and positive comments I've received for my last few posts and my sincere apologies not replying. Each and every one is very much appreciated. I'm away as my Mum is really unwell and in need and I cannot log on. Re. Barra: A little series of images #13, I am upset that Mal should even think let alone suggest I am a ripper. I am an honest and ethical person and would never rip off anyone's work and parade it as my own. I took this shot from the back of the ferry boat as we were departing from Barra. We had had a lovely holiday and we were sad to leave and that is all there is to it, wonky horizon and all. The trouble we can get into over words. The above is my mis-understanding arising from the use of a word. I now know that 'Ripper' is "(Slang). One that is an excellent example of its kind," and originates from Australia, as well as meaning someone who rips off other people's work or someone who copies music files from CDs to a hard drive, or even " One who commits murder with a knife or similar sharp object"! Coming from Mal, I should have realised he could only have been paying me a compliment. I am too sensitive for my own good!

I struggle sometimes -often, to know whether I'm getting it right or not with my image making. The number of comments for Daisy in Winter kind of shouts 'yes' but how do you feel about this one? Which is better?
