Sundown at Granny's Bay
This was the place Les Dawson would come looking for inspiration or just to take in the view. He was one of my Dad's all time favourite Comedians along with Tommy Cooper, Eric Morecambe and Ernie Wise,The Two Ronnies and Benny Hill of course. "Ernie, The Fastest Milkman in the West" anyone remember that?

Steady, Jose, you're giving your age away there! Actually, I worked on three M+W Christmas Specials- I still have the drawings I did for the "Singing in the rain" street set!
Lovely image, by the way- great sense of space, air and distance specially with your trademark horizon position! Lots and lots of luck with your show- knock 'em dead, gal!
pixelpixie: But I was just a kid at the time!
Great exposure a likey for me.
This is lovely Jose. I've noticed a few times when photographing in such conditions (with this quite low cloud base) that the drama of a scene is really brought to the fore, very lovely image. mal
Hmmm, like the colortone here, the atmosphere is great !
Have a very very nice week
To me this is very painting like.... in a good way. Many of these shots have that red/yellow colour tone, I like these tones more
Gotta love that sky, Jose!
Great Image Jose!! love that atmosphere...
Petra
Well composed with subtle, muted tones
I like the glow. It looks peaceful even with the dark clouds moving in.
superb natural shot...
I don't think this would have looked half as good if the tide had been in, the reflected light off the smooth shallow water is a wonderful balance to those dark clouds.
excellent shot.
Such beautiful lighting in this shot - love it.
It is an impressive sky!
Great image!
