Ooh, I love that! Only one central rock in focus, but sets a great scene and narrative. One of your sure-fire commercial pics too, and still with your trademark crop and horizon. Cracker!
A fine result Jose, an evening on the beach and a sunset to boot, well captured.
Beautiful color and DOF. Very nice capture!
Bravo, the DOF is excelent, love the colors, this is a very nice job you did here.
Nic use of DOF and th colouring is great.
Very nice, Jose, I would prefer the focus to be from the forground, but never mind.
This doesn't quite work for me Jose. I think there are two pictures here. The stones with their lovely lighting and the figure walking along an empty beach. In between there is a large area, which is a nice colour but doesn't link the other two in any way.
Nice romantic type image. If there were two people, it would be a top image, suggesting romance. It's still a good shot.
I like the way you have focused this and don't agree with the comments about it being two separate pictures. Or the one about needing two figures - now that would be too sentimental. Only lone figure always does it for me!
Ingrid
Beautiful shot and I also like you focal point.
Very nice shot. I like the focal point too
I very much like the way you have used the DOF here. A very tranquil scene
You've made my day with this shot. Very nice.
Jose, I don't give two flips how you did this, it is beautiful. WOW.
This brings a whole new meaning to Tilt shift. Spectacularly good stuff, Jose.
pixelpixie: Thanks Alistair. This is just using basics - working out the third in front and two thirds behind what you actually focus on. Do wish I had a 5x4 field camera though!
Beautiful shot. Superbe.
Sympathetic tones & light have given this a lyrical, dreamy quality, Jose.
Wonderful Jose
cool one - interesting dof.
Beautiful sunset. Il like the result, good frame and DOF.
pixelpixie: Thank-you! I'm so pleased you like this and thank-you for visiting too and bookmarking this image on photoblogs.org. I've only just joined and am still trying to work out how to do that!
