Sea Campion II
In the evening sun.
Thank-you to all who have visited and commented these last few days, I shall respond but I just wanted to say thank-you also for the words of support for my little dog. I was able to bring her home today and she is on the mend - lots of pills to take for a couple more weeks but I've got my Zizou back. We had a happy walk in the dunes to celebrate.

Welcome back, little Zizou! Good news.
And welcome back, Jose Ann!
Ah, I did not know about your little doggie, Jose. I'm so glad little Zizou is healing. Please give her a big hug from Meadow (my little doggie) and I, if you can. I'm glad the two of you had a happy walk!
This is a lovely picture. I like the slight touches of white, and the other tones/colors as well. Very delicate.
Glad for u and 'zizou', pix.
Nice shot...the white colours work for me.
This is so beautiful. Like yesterday's, it has a subject and background of similar colour and is just so subtle. I'm not usually a fan of flower close-ups - nothing against flowers, I just don't find them very interesting as photographs, but these have been stunning. Well done!
Ingrid
fascinating. otherworldly!
You really have produced some sensational plant photographs, pixie. Very enjoyable.
Totally agree with Chad, but you already know it !
I like the muted feel to this and the back lighting, v nice.
Oooooh now that is beautiful. So delicate and sensitive in it's appearance. Like it a lot.
Amazing work. really stunning.
aren't plants just magic. This is really delicately photographed. beautiful picture.
stop making me comment on flowery photo's! I have a reputation to upkeep! lol
another cracker. mal
pixelpixie: Ha ha! You're not alone, Dave Carrington and Maxblack have all said similar! Makes me feel very good that you should think so.
Love the "spotlight" on the petals while the rest is in shade.
Like Ingrid, I'm ho-hum about flower photos, but yours are completely different and strangely, I hardly notice they are flowers, more that they are beautiful shapes, textures and colours, spaced and placed dramatically and artfully on the canvas. Beautiful work.
I love the light and the texture here.
The lack of bright colours works so well in this photograph, and allows the viewer to explore the detail of the plant, especially the wonderful patterns. (:o)
Wonderfully artistic : Bravo !!
