nice and interesting image. cheers holger
I get the picture, Jose
Some days it is a treat to be holed up indoors. I think this would be one of those days. I like this very much. (:o)
Your picture makes me want to stay inside next to the fireplace, which is where I am right now! I love the feeling your photo exudes. Very nice, Jose-Ann.
That is totally my kind of day, Jose-Ann! Your image evokes that wonderful, cozy, inside feel of winter. I'd love to play Boggle, Uno or work a jigsaw puzzle with you!
That's great. Looks like an old picture... I like the droplets on the window... Like clouds in the sky...
Love the picture Jose. Have played much UNO when the kids were young. Great way of passing a wet day!
Like a vision from memory...
Looking at these (and other shutterchancers) is like opening several present in the course of a day...thank you!
Good grief Jose- I sit in typical Hebridean weather like this for months on end and would never have the vision to take such an evocative image as this! Quite superb, totally individual, and so narrative of the place- well done!
pixelpixie: Receiving a hundred comments for this image would not equal the this one comment you have left for me here! If this works for you, the man of Skye, then I am content!
The rain stopped finally as dusk began to fall but we went out anyway and my next post was taken at the end of the day.
What a stimulating image Jose. You really do need vision to see images of this originality. I love every aspect of it, I am trying to visualise your process here, the combination of neutral tones and the chroma is quite stunning. The isolation is obviously helping your creativity.
pixelpixie: Glad you like it Alistair. Lol, I just put the lens up to the bevelled glass in the front door and shot a few frames at different angles of the scene outside!
One of those miserable days...wonderful capture Jose
pixelpixie: Thanks very much Chris!
intriguing.. but in a good sort of way. Draws the viewer in which is really all you can ask for in a good shot. well done
pixelpixie: Thanks attah!
Ah, so you found the rain cloud then? You've made it look somehow appealing
pixelpixie: We were determined to make the most of it, rain or shine and it was one of the best holidays we've had - the kids didn't want to come home!
i'd like to see you put together this image as a jig saw!... that would be hard! lovely shot and lol at David. mal
pixelpixie: Nowhere near as hard as the one we took to do, that was a real teaser.
This has a little Eastern European feel...it's not the subject matter but the style and colour. It's nostalgic.
