pixelpixie: Thanks so much Petra, I feel like I'm getting somewhere when I manage to convey mood in an image. smile

I agree with Petra, Jose. This one is dramatic! Great tones and framing. smile
pixelpixie: Hi Kay, this is me playing and experimenting and having a lot of fun! I got the tones through inverting the image in photoshop - it's only the petals that really give it away I think.
A real beauty, Jose. Wonderful! A likey for me.. Thank you! smile
pixelpixie: Really pleased you like this still-life Suzanne- it's one of my favourites. Polaroids are great fun and immediate.

Very, very cool, Jose Ann. It definitely has it's own mood.
pixelpixie: Hi Ginnie, thanks, it's definitely a little different to what I usually do. It was great fun doing these polaroids too.
It looks like a painting. Very striking effect!
pixelpixie: Hi Martin, thanks the the lovely comment.smile
Beautiful color/tone.
pixelpixie: Thanks Red Pen. I inverted it in Photoshop to get these colours and tones but it is not overly noticeable as a negative image I don't think.

Excellent treatment here, looks good.
pixelpixie: Thanks Les, pleased you like it.
Very arty, and some great processing here. I'm not a big fan of borders so I could do without them, but I know that's just me smile I like the mix of focus and out of focus. I like the grainy look as well
pixelpixie: Thank-you Aksel, I really enjoyed doing this. Each image comes out different, depending how the back comes off - it can leave blemishes or sometimes they come out near perfect.
You seem to have got some messy sticky stuff round the edge wink grin Seriously though, a wonderfully creative image that has the eye wandering round the canvas for ages, intrigued by so many details and textures- quite special, and I'm so envious of your still life talents!
pixelpixie: Thank-you, it was great fun to do.
very nice treatment.
pixelpixie: Thanks Dotun smile
Nice work - Really creative !
pixelpixie: Merci Zeb! I wish I had done more smile
