A popular cliche but never the less a compelling subject. You have made this your own, an excellent image, well interpreted.
pixelpixie: Thank-you Alistair smile It was actually the TV series 'New Tricks' that got me going on this one. It was the nick name Denis Waterman was given in one of the episodes.
I'm awe-struck! What makes you decide to take a particular shot? Is there a 'way of thinking' that a person needs to adopt to be able to discover these opportunities?
pixelpixie: Thank-you bisola. I suppose with this one there was a line of thought but then other things come into play like on telly there was a programme recently that was called last man standing and I just happened to be photographing dandelion clocks at the time and thought what a good way to visualise the concept. It's just following your thoughts and visualising them. The main thing is just to keep on taking pictures, the more you do it, the better you get. smile

The frosting on the cake, Jose Ann, is your title! I love it!
pixelpixie: Thanks Ginnie, it was the title that started me off with this one.
Love your lighting and composition Jose, great one.
pixelpixie: Thanks once again bridge smile
Very nice B&W and I love this "contre-jour"... don't know the word in english... I should go back to school ! smile
pixelpixie: Hi Florence, thank-you so much, I did hesitate over whether to post this or not. Contre-jour - it's the same term in English, you French say some things so much better wink
